An air purifier that targets pollen allergies

  • Written by: TruSens

Do you face pollen allergy symptoms? Allergy proof your home with a TruSens air purifier that ensures cleaner air throughout the entire room.

What is a pollen allergy?

Pollen, one of the most common causes of allergies, is a microscopic powder produced by flowers, trees, and grasses.  Pollen counts and the types of pollen in the air may vary depending on where you live and can cause seasonal flair ups.   When someone is allergic to pollen, their immune system has an adverse reaction when breathing in this allergen.

Plants that commonly cause pollen allergies:

  • Trees: Birch, Alder, Cedar, Hazelnut, Willow, Plane, Olive and Hornbeam
  • Grasses: Ryegrass and Timothy
  • Weeds: Ragweed, Nettle, Mugwort, Goosefoot and Sorrel

Common symptoms of pollen allergy:

  • Watery eyes
  • Runny nose
  • Rhinitis
  • Sore throat
  • Coughing
  • Headaches
  • Asthma
  • Increased mucous

How does a TruSens air purifier help eliminate pollen allergens?

Even though no home can be completely allergy-free, TruSens can help decrease the number of airborne particles and increase indoor air quality levels. HEPA is one of the most common ways that air purifiers remove allergens from the air. TruSens incorporates four levels of purification, one of them being a DuPont™ HEPA filter. The HEPA filter traps particulate matter as small as 0.3 microns, including  pollen.

TruSens also features remote sensing technology called SensorPod. SensorPod can more accurately represent the air quality in a room by measuring the air quality away from the unit. By placing the SensorPod away from the unit, the purifier adapts to the air readings made my SensorPod to ensure better room coverage of cleaner air. You can place the SensorPod wherever you need it most: on the kitchen table, near the baby’s crib, on the nightstand, or in an office space. By establishing TruSens as part of your lifestyle, you are more likely to reduce your exposure to pollen allergens, allowing you to breathe more comfortably.
